2005-2006 Campaign Overview

Following the production and screening of the 2003 television advert highlighting the presence of field impairment testing, the next challenge was to convince people that drugs do affect their driving ability. A radio advert highlighting the dangers of drug-driving was aired in January 2005 and supported by posters specifically targeted at cannabis users. These were distributed through the usual networks. The Drug-Drive Working Group would consider the new research (2006) into Recreational Drugs and Driving to determine the way forward.
